It is not a "set" limit, but a guideline... I know more and more people are on highspeed connections these days... If I see on that looks like it is too big I usually email / PM the person to see if they need help to resize it.

It is at 77.59 KB right now... So it is a little big, file size not display size... You can see how big a picture is by right clicking on it and choosing properties...

Mine is 15.33 KB

When I right click I get pixels not size bytes....in that spot it says "unavailable". Ians siggy says 15xxx .

it is 54.33 KB (55638 bytes) so it is a little large, but not bad.. You can use the photo resize program I told you about to reduce the file size without reducing the actual picture size.

i'm on broadband.. so file size isn't really a problem for me.. I have a bigger problem with really tall sig pictures, that make for a bunch of extra scrolling when you get into long threads..

i do too.. but it still makes for a lot of extra scrolling :P~

some message boards force an option that your sig is posted in your first post to a thread, then it isn't shown anymore in that thread.. i kinda like that setup smile
