70chev
Alright everyone so I am redoing my original 350, and my brother is pushing my to turn it into a 383. What do you guys think about that? I have found a guy in the area that is very good with q-jets so that is what I will be using for a carb. Also I am looking at getting headers for my car. Which ones to you think is the best value? Also, will I have any problems with clearance (sparkplugs and such?) Thanks for your comments!! Wayne

DavidTX
These are the headers I installed about 3 years ago. Still look like new. http://www.jegs.com/i/Patriot-Exhaust/737/H8021-1/10002/-1?parentProductId=751612 The only intereference, you may need to relocate your proportioning valve. footballubet
You'll be happy with the 383 upgrade. You'll have the same clearance issues as you would with the 350. Header to spark plug clearance can always be an issue, but easily fixed with the right plug wire ends.
