maddmann313
http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb299/maddmann313/ACpump2.jpg When I got the car there was not a belt on the compressor. Part 1 will turn by hand but part 2 will not, what does this mean? Can I fix this without buying a whole new compressor???

Andy's Auto
That means your clutch hub bearing is seized. It is replaceable if you know a young old guy like me that has the puller and press to do the job.
robs70monte
I have some pumps if you need one shipping might be a bit steep but they work
wallaby
Actually you got lucky....had it been the other way around, you'd be looking for a new compressor. You just need the idler bearings replaced. It's not too bad of a job and you don't even have to mess with the freon charge in the system, but as Andy said, it requires special tools.
