Xxyyzz
can you explain why you don't want airshocks?
clint w
my only dealings with them were on friends cars in the '80s and they leaked, cheap plactic lines that had to be mounted in the trunk.maybe they have become better quality now?? Xxyyzz
still cheap plastic lines, but you can upgrade to rubber if you want.. mine run behind the flip license plate. You can literally fill it with a bike pum IF you wanted lol. Â I got my set on summit for 60-something dollars. Â -Mark
clint w
http://www.ebay.com/itm/390362757473?item=390362757473&viewitem=&vxp=mtr i'm assuming this is for both springs?
Xxyyzz
usually a set of 4 or 2, wouldnt hurt to shoot them an email
monte70car
Springs are usual sold in pairs, just like air shocks. You could always hard line the air shock like gm did for the el camino their is a place on the net that carries the metal line and block the screw into at the rear
clint w
 hope the pic shows up.i have the original springs that look like they have sagged. i really don't want a "jacked up" look. just want the new wheel/tire combo to work. i bought some 15x8 rally wheels with 4.5" backspace. i plan on running 275-60-15 tires. i'm thinking i can get away with some new stock springs moog part#cc501. if anyone sees a problem with this setup please let me know  thanks for your help edit.. can't get the pic to show up but its in my new members post
70mcarlo
I'm using Moog CC501's. I also have 275/60-15 Radial TAs mounted on 15x8 rallys with 5" backspacing on the rear. If you want to use 4 1/2" backspacing, you may need to trim some of the rear wheel lip.

i looked on ebay and was looking the best deal for the springs. some cc501 were not compatible with my car. isn't that the part# and any with that part# work ? 70mcarlo
Yes, CC501 is the correct part number for the variable rate springs. I wouldn't rely on eBay for compatibility information.
Ian
The best price I found on CC501's was Amazon
cny first gen 71
CC501 on my car got them off ebay for about 75 or 80 bucks with shipping. Work perfectly.
Mike 57
I run the softest spring that NAPA lists for a monte and fit 275/60s without an issue. I like a softer rear suspension for my goals. the cc501s should be fine
