FASTSS454
Install the tranny, then call Strange Engineering in Ill. and they will tell you how to measure it and will build you a very nice driveshaft.
Andreas
Dennys Driveshafts is in Buffalo, just under 4 hours from Cleveland... Â http://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/ Â I think the stock Monte u-joints are 1310 type

gprimm
Bob, I just put a driveshaft in my Monte when I put a 700r4 in it. I can measure it for you if you would like. I got it 4 years ago from a FGMC member here who lives in VA. It fit perfect. I have a small block & 700r4. Â Just let me know and I'll measure tomorrow. Mike 57
Hi Bob, You may be able to have yours shortened. You will need a new trans yoke. I have a shaft from a Monte that had a TH350 and a 12 bolt I heard that they will work but I have no idea if it is true. I got it when we swapped Jack Coopers TH350 for a TH400. I used the original shaft from my Monte and kept his. If it will work and you want it it is yours if you want to make the drive. The yoke on the 350 is the same as the 700. I put a Denney's Nitrous Ready shaft in mine forged yokes 1350 u joints and all that good stuff. Major paper though!
