Correct replacement Fuel Tank

the problem with aftermarket replacement tanks is the filler neck

they stop at the tank, factory ones continue into the tank to prevent fuel slosh up the filler neck

Is it easy enough to remove the old and have someone solder in the old neck?

I'm gonna see if the shop that did my radiator would do that, I have my old tank from my '71 that I'll cut the filler neck out of and see if they'll install it into the new tank for the 4 speed

Check the Dyncorn website, I believe Leo is a distributor. I got mine from a local bodyshop that was a distributor and it was an exact replacement with the neck. As I recall, I paid $100...........

When I replaced the tank on my small block, I went to my friend and neighbor, Mark Tamraz of Tamraz Auto in Plainfield, IL. He sold me an exact tank with the correct filler neck that was made in Canada. He said this outfit did the original ones. Still pretty 7 years later!!!!
