  1. Did an inventory of what NEEDS to be done vs what I want and ordered a bunch of stuff, including a refreshed/rebuilt Quadrajet to replace the 650 double pumper the previous owner added. Vintage Air shipped my system yesterday and it should be here Saturday, but that's going to be a winter project.

  4. As long as oil pressure is 10 or above at idle oil pressure is good. I have a 454 and used to run 20-50 valvoline vr-1 all the time. Thats how it used to be old school thought and that is what my engine builder said to use. I have a roller cam and roller lifters I bought through Chris Straub - https://straubtechnologies.com and they says 10-30 to 10-40 driven racing oil. Some say it all depends on bearing clearances tight or loose. But now i run the 10-30 driven oil. I have 20 15 to 20 lbs at idle and goes up from there when driving. Im definitely no expert hopefully someone else will chime in.

  5. I had to remove the top portion of mine to tighten 3 or 4 bolts because it was wobbling like crazy. I took a few pictures if they help any. I was harder than I thought it would be to do. Good Luck! I have a column shifter. If anyone does remove / lower their column, you MUST unhook the shift indicator cable or you will break it! Bruce
