Welcome aboard Mike. WOW Mike, that is a ton of rust for one car to come back from. I would expect to see that much rust on a car up here in the winter salt area. It looks like it must have either come from up here or maybe it was found partially submerged along a costal beach down there in Florida. rob

Steve, I will tell you what I will do for you on your name badge. I will put it into the holder upside down so all you have to do is glance down without lifting it up and turn it around. rob

I got a rundown from our hotel tonight of our available rooms. As of tonight we only have 5 rooms remaining. They may be able to give us one additional room but past that, we may not be able to get any others after that. The manager has told me if they were to get cancellations from other groups or individual room cancellations they will try to funnel them our way but there are not guarantees. I have also asked the hotel if they know of any of the surrounding hotels that may have available rooms I could get under a contract. There is another hotel who has offered us a contract for some rooms. I have not responded to that hotel because it is located about 10 miles from our host hotel which may not be the best choice. I will see if our hotel has any suggestions for our overflow. rob

John, Of course we are interested. As you may know, we LOVE pictures here. You know, even better I see you live in Delaware which isn't that far from Carlisle, why not get registered for the Eastern Meet in Carlisle PA this June and you can point out in person what you have done. As of right now we have 67 members registered to attend. Just let me know how I can help get you registered, what better way to meet a large group of members and see their cars. rob

The grill emblems are pretty much interchangeable. I would bet very few people would notice that you don't have the proper one on your car. Besides, it is your car and you can do as you wish as long as you don't put a Chevelle SS in the grill..... Just kidding, go for whatever you want to do, make it your own. rob

I don't know how to tell you people this. It's not really very hard to say. Without delay I will just blast you with this information........... It wasn't long ago that we had not broken the 50 member attendance and then the 55 member attendance for our Eastern Meet. The hits just keep coming. This weekend I had a long time member notify me they didn't want to miss this Eastern Meet. Even though this member had sold their Monte, they want to be a part of this years meet so much they have registered their 2022 Colorado PU with Carlisle Events and made their hotel reservations (it's about the friendships they have made with us over the years). Then I get an email this weekend from another member from Louisiana that they want to attend. Once I get the information from the club registration information from this member in Louisiana it will put us at 67 members registered with me to attend. This is truly amazing your response for this meet. This puts us at 3 members shy of 70 with just under 4 months until this meet. Keep these registrations coming. If you have not registered for the GM Nationals with Carlisle Events please do so as soon as possible. The more pre-registrations we get, the larger free club canopy we will be given by Carlisle Events. Let's shoot for one of the largest canopy's they have available. Thank You rob

I saw in another post that you would be willing to trailer other members cars to a meet.... why now you own, we would love to meet you and this Eastern Meet would be a great one to to meet the most members all at one time and better yet to see the most First Gen Monte's all in one place at one time. rob

I hope it doesn't stop working Dennis, that may be considered a deviation from Factory Correct. We are thinking about loading 3 or 4 of the fgmcc family kids into the SS trunks to verify the functionability. rob

After sanding them down and you had a nice shiny polished bare metal look you should have clear-coated them for an interesting chrome like modified look.. it may be an alteration from Factory Correct demerit but what the heck. rib
