  1. I thought I remembered Andreas upgrading his to something new and cool. I'm sure he will chime in.
  2. I would say Sam just makes them "tight" no spec at all!
  3. Wow, upgrading all that can get pricey!!!! I would like to do front after tightening up the rear last tear, but I'll be living with the new stock front end for a while it seems
  4. I originally put them at 100 and have retorqued them. Just thought 100 may be too high
  5. What does anyone with aftermarket wheels have the lugs torqued to? Great time to ask as I've been driving now for a month or so!

    Love the color! Looks mean
  7. . Drove mine for 2nd day this week. I had to pick up my oldest daughter after school today so she's very happy I drive the Monte. Sitting outside school in line now waiting for her. Beautiful day for a ride for sure
  8. At the time I think mine were $255 a bumper, I'd call them as Jim said, I thought they were in the $325 area now
  9. FYI. Tri city straightened a not so great front bumper and welded the usual crack in the rear by the taillight in mine. I was kind of shocked at how good a job they did on my front one. All included in the price, and lifetime warranty on chrome. Can't beat that!!!
  10. I used tri city as well. Couldn't be happier
  11. Hit a local show tonight with my son. Got a lot of nice comments about the car and there was 2 other first gens there. One was a member Bill who I've run into before and actually worked with him before. My son saw his car coming in and noticed the FGMCC plate on the front. Edit....... I give up posting pics from my phone, always the wrong direction, sorry!

    Always love a mirror finish!
  14. Sounds exactly like mine Doug, usually when I top it off and it sits it spikes up to about the 3oclock position, goes back to normal after a few days of driving. It's been doing it for years, lt keeps returning back to normal so I'm not dealing with it for now
  15. Not too much of a difference, I can't picture there being any issues, but hopefully someone on here who is using that setup will chime in. here's a link to the size comparison of the 2 http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/tirecalc.php?tires=255-60r15-235-70r15 I like the look of the camaro wheels on your car a lot!
  16. Probably stolen car, chop shopped and put the motor in yours Rob!

I have gone through it also Rob and removed some of the posts that have nothing in them. It would be nice to see some updated pics and we can continue to delete the ones where the pics are gone. Should be easier now with the new site since we don't have to rely on a hosting site to store our pictures
  19. I did take it for a brief cruise, first time started since New Years, Still way too much salt and debris on the roads I determined, as the new tires seem to like to grab everything and sandblast my rocker moldings! I stayed local, cruised through a state park and got a few thumbs up, man it felt good to be behind that wheel again!
