Its NOT a depth perception issue, but yea stuffing the suburban and the car requires a little width guidance π€£ But I appreciate the offer. On a side note, its funny how many people were cautious passing me on the interstate in the old suburban

I was looking at a sweet restored Montego GT big block when I found my Monte, Glad I got the Monte and found this place π€This guy used to run the local track back in the day...

80's NOT 60's I don't own any tie-dyed stuff, but I do have a few raggedy concert t-shirts in the closet π€π€£

You'll see a trend here, couldn't find a pic of my Montego MX. π€£ Some may notice the 75 and 72 have the same wheels and tires. I had just finished upgrading the 75 when FL started emissions testing, couldn't get the 75 to run and pass emissions so took the whole drive train and dropped it in the 72, 72 was exempt from testing. The 67 pic is taken in front of the lot of my first house, the others are the built house.

Well ya just dropped a notch in my book , another vette owner π€£ Don't forget to bring your members only jacket to Carlisle π€£ And nothing against Vicky, but this is my favorite blue oval

Even better if ya had the old wing windows π€£

I believe I used a power master mini on my 454 back in the day , no issues worked like a charm. That was a stock block no headers or other mods at the time.

I only count the changes to amuse myself, and deflect on the $$ ive dropped π€£ I'm not really a car show person but obviously I keep showing up to the meets without a car because of THE PEOPLE. Last year at Carlisle I had to change my entry from Monte to Suburban π€£ Didnt care still parked with the club . Someone even tried to park with us with a Blue Oval , they were quickly re-routed to the non-participating parking area π€£

Maybe if you put those on they would let you park on the property at Carlisle π€£

Yea Willie, two handfuls of years ago (see pic below, do they still print these?) I had a sketchy FL title that FL wouldn't register. Found a place in Hemmings News in Alabama that would register it (for a small fee) and then I got it registered in FL π²

If it passed DMV you should be fine. In Fl they're sticklers on classic cars dealer or not. Personal sales require extra paperwork π

Glad you did your research to see that you weren't singled out. You'll also notice there is some nudging to get members to come to the meets and hang out with the people behind the keyboard who share a love of the Monte Carlos. All done of course trying to promote this community. Just like making an omelette, some eggs get broken. And unfortunately sometimes with humor, sarcasm, and a few wise [censored] comments someone's feelings get hurt. Life goes on.
