Thank you for the advice gentlemen. I dropped the transmission off today to get rebuilt and repaired.

I just discovered that my transmission is missing the entire tab on one side that the inspection cover plate mounts to... I'm now looking for a new transmission. Who makes a good strong transmission?

I was considering adding one for performance but not sure if I want to go that direction due to the exhaust possibly hanging low due to the X? Is that correct? My engine is currently being built and it will be a dyno tested 600HP. I'm also glad that you mentioned how it would alter the sound because that would probably be a deal killer for me.

Is anybody running an X pipe? If so did you buy a kit or did you have a muffler shop put it on? Pictures would be nice.

Also I was wondering if in any of your installations if you have retained the factory charcoal canister? I'm trying keep the stock look.
