  1. Prestone makes a kit with a nozzle that will direct the discharge out of the radiator fill spout.
  2. Are they digital gauges ??? You mentioned that they are working while the car isn't running, but if the car isn't running, the gauges shouldn't be either.....
  3. If you're driving highway a lot, you might want to consider an overdrive transmission..... Internal or external, opinions vary.
  4. A weak cap, sticky thermostat, trapped air, plugged heater.... all these things could be the cause. Like Steve says, flush the whole system to make sure... Most parts stores will sell you a kit with a "T" that you add to the hearer hose. Then just hook up the garden hose and let it run a while. Might want to change the thermostat as well. ( I went through three of them before getting one that worked )
  5. He sources from a few places across the border..... it's just nice to not have to pay all those extra fees.
  6. Looks a bit like Max's Falcon....
  7. Not sure if anyone else has had dealings with Early Bird Restoration in Barrie, Ont. But I just picked up a few pieces... His prices are pretty good, (buys in bulk from Parts Place.) and it saves on all the duty and cross border fees. Looks like he has the ability to get just about anything.
  8. You may want to set that in the 6 O'clock position..... Give yourself the "Top Gun" feel.
  9. Has to be the 13th...... Replaced all the lines and fittings for the rear air shocks this afternoon.... Holds even less pressure now. ugggghhhh.
  10. The one on the right looks interesting..... Keep in mind how much of a "dish" effect you want to go with. I found that the flat ones felt strange while driving in traffic.
  11. Holley owns just about everything out there..... It's just a matter of tme.
  12. And just what does the wife thing about all those chains ????
  13. NO SHAKE...... NO SHIMMY..... NO ROLL....... UNIROYAL !!!! lol
  14. And some of us even got T-shirts..... lol
  15. Because the Edelbrock carb has a different configuration than the Q jet, you'll have to watch for clearances under the air cleaner as well. I wound up buying a custom made base..... But a 1/2" spacer works too. A 2"-2 1/2" element is as big as you can go with the filter. But seeing as the Monte Carlo has the longest hood out there, replacing the cam shouldn't require pulling the engine. Good luck with your cam swap.
  16. Inventive !!! That kind of damage will occur when trying to teach wives/children to drive.
  17. Right at the top.... Helps to see if the alignment is still good.
  18. N.P. Every bit of input helps..... I'm running air shocks in the back, but I think their might be a little leak in them somewhere. I was trying to find out if the math on the drivetrain was real, which meant going over 100 mph. Just curious.... lol
  19. P.S. It's not attached to the bumper, I mounted it to the bottom of the radiator frame so the air gets forced through the rad.
  20. Glad you found one worth keeping..... I never had such luck. I don't drive that fast anymore either..... mostly. Just wanted to see if the math that some sites for drivetrains was accurate.
