Hello everyone, I am starting to do the window brackets and motors. When I was cleaning the motors, I remembered someone said to clean all the old and caked up 40 year old grease out. What grease do I use to put back in after cleaning that stuff out? White grease, or something with alittle more body??

Holy Molly!!! I cant believe it, this post is from last Oct. The bracket turns out to be a ground bracket for a chevelle sweeping dash. Does not fit our dashes. I did put one on from a chevelle round dash with tach. I had the dash in for awhile, but had to pull it back out some, to get all the duct work in. Almost back together and I ran out of time. Thanks for all the help guys, I couldn't do this without you guys.

Sir Monte and his twin Sir Carlo are very upset they couldn't make it this year and you guys took the COOOOOLEST club hangout award. Now Sir Monte turns his back to me whenever I get to go in the greenhouse. Wish I could have made it this year. I am so happy this club and owners kicked butt!!!! CONGRATS TO ALL!!!!!

Hello everyone!!! I finally got a chance to install the dash and wiring in the dash today. Question is I have 3 wires in question, all of witch are in the fuse box on the acc feeds, Top one is orange and has an extention wire coming from the clip about 4 inches out and then clipped off to noplace, this is the acc lighting package. Middle is red, same thing comes out of the acc clip about 3 inches and is clipped, goes noplace. this goes to the defogger switch. Last wire is pink and it goes to the bottom acc prong and in that harness about 6 to 8 inches away is a yellow wire with a black stripe and a female clip that I don't know where it goes to. I do have a pic, but its on my phone (batt in camera died) and don't know how to install it now. Any help is appreciated greatly. Thx

He had a box full of them. I thought someone in the club might need them some day. That's why I wanted to buy the whole box. lol

Someone cut 1 side out of mine and I used a replacement cone to repair it. Works fine so far. I did buy the set to make sure I had the right one. Got mine in Carlisle, I tried to buy the whole lot but he would only sell me 2 sets.

Finally got a chance to put in the dash today. Not enough time to finish. Had a few problems, that I finally figured out I am sure I will have some questions when I get back to it.

As others said, they just press in. Make sure you use the barrel nuts, they slip on the studs and you just press them in.

Hey Guys, I have a chance to buy an 8ft Knight. Havent seen it yet, but I know where it is and have to check it out. The only problem with this is how am I going to transport it back and forth to the EM. But I am working on it...LOL

Has anyone used the wiring harnesses from the Parts Place? I need a engine and a front light wiring harness, just wanted to make sure no one had a problem before i buy them. Thanks

Thanks everyone for the info. I didnt realize that there were so little "W" code customs made. I was happy with just 1 of 1200plus. Now to find out 1 of 100, its like when i found my build sheet, Christmass all over again.lol Thanks you everyone Esp Aaron and Leo for there neverending knowledge

I cant figure it out yet. I agree you cant have too many grounds. I just dont think this is acorrect one even though its marked for a 72. The dash harness has 3 grounds out of it just like the vidio shows, 2 grounds and the headlight ground. But i would like to put this on if i can. I am still trying. Thanks Guys

Dan Thank You for posting that! However, now i am not sure if mine had one. As everyone know my car was all apart but i do have this bracket but it has the small whole on the wire, my harness has the large washer that goes behing the headlight switch not even sure if the bracket is right for the car? What do you guys think???

For a 72, does anyone know where the ground bracket goes on the cluster or dash. I checked the book but i cant find it. Thanks Willie
