CONGRATS!!! One of the members of my homies car club is going to be in that issue as well. Its orange 57 from Showtime C.C. Hows that work for you running the pumps in the enigine compartment. Does the fluid heat up? Thats a bad set up! Man, that's a bad MC all the way around. I gotta pick up some Hankooks, but when I do I'll post pics of mine with the new wires on.

I don't know the name of this ride, but it is from the Cali chapter of my homie's club up here in seattle. From Legacy Car Club, an Aztlan themed Monte.

that says alot coming from someone of your caliber... really hope to be able to see yours in person some day. I've great things about your car from fellow east coast members and the one thing they all agreed on was that the pics don't do it justice
  15. Not a whole lot you can do for radical stuff like making the car dance. But when it comes to hopping these guys FULLY wrap the frame and use telescoping drive shafts, extended and reinforced a-arms th prevent the ball joints from busting, 4 link suspensions (never really got into hopping so I'm not sure what that consists of, but I'll post pics of set ups and I'm sure you guys would be able to point out what was customized), battery placement for leverage, power balls for the rear cylinders... I'll try to see if I can get Big Tony on here, he can really disect this sort of thing..
  16. I'll see if I can find some recent Hopp Off videos. I wish I could get my homie Big Tony on here, it's a science all in it's self to get them cars up that high in a couple of licks (the number of times a person has to hit the switch to get the car to hop to maximum heighth)

Heres the vid.... but we warned that the new owners are obviously new to lowriding
  18. Nice vid. I'm guessing thats from the 90's since the don't "car dance" any more. Not sure why, I've heard tht besides being hard on the car, was dispute over the method of judging. Now they go for inches which is easier to regualate. GREAT THREAD! I'm gonna find some good vids now to keep this going!

Unforunately this car is now in Austria or Australia. I posted a You Tube of it on my Face Book of the new owners DESTROYING IT :tear: I've talked with the original owner on Lay it Low whom built the car, real cool guy.

Nice! I'll post up a link to Lay it Low .com. The guy that started that First Gen low rider thread mentioned that he has attneded this site before and gave FGMCC it's props. Way to go guys, It'll be nice to see the knowledge from both Lowriders and Hot Rodders shared.
  21. Oh man that sux. I had to pick up a couple of drunk friends, and because of how much I worked I kept a gallon of water behind the driver seat to stay hydrated. I pick these fools up, only to discover after dropping them off my homies friends knock over the jug and spilled the gallon of water all over. After cleaning up the mess I found, an intact..... good condition..... build sheet, destroyed from the water. The guy would never fess up to it, he almost caught five across the eye but it was my homie's roommate and asked me not too. RIP build sheet
  22. Now I'm REALLY gonna put hydraulics on the Mone.
  23. I figured mine must have dranken the above mentioned drinks and dropped me alot.... cuz I'm just not right and I think most would agree, especially those that have met me in person
  24. Ahhh.... the good ol days
