My MSD box is on the passenger side inner fender under the A/C and heater hoses.

It is usually best to prime the area before the seam sealer. Helps keep moisture from penetrating below the seam sealer and getting the rust started. That is what we recommend at Anderson Automotive Color when anyone ask us questions about seam sealer.

When I repaired my 72's A/C just before the Eastern Meet I had to replace the dryer pr the compressor warranty was null and void. I also replace it again when I had to get the new condenser just to be safe.

With your money you should have bought me one too!!!!!! LOL LOL LOL

The guy I bought my 72 from had a 700R4 installed about a year before I purchased it. It shifted very hard and I forget who on this forum told me check out BowTie Overdrives. I got one of their kits for the downshift cable and it made a world of difference. One of the best improvements I have done so far. Smooth shifting for normal driving and when I hammer it the tires bark when the tranny hits 2nd gear.

I had my drive shaft shortened by 1/2" when I had the motor out last year. It was very hard to get the drive shaft out of the yoke on the rear end plus every once in a while you could hear a slight banging sound when hitting harsh bumps. Since the shortening that sound has disappeared.

There electrical stuff is junk in my opinion. Agreed!! I did buy a framing nailer from them about ten years ago and it is still going strong. Any electric tools I have bought from them have been questionable at best.

If you remove the clock there is a Tachometer that will fit right in the same spot. The ones I have seen run around $139.00 plus S/H. That is my plan but maybe not this year.

That is a good deal. My condenser alone cost me more than that but I needed quickly to get the car to the Eastern Meet last Aug. The A/C was finished on Weds. and Thurs Morning Glendia and I hit the road to GA.

Started reassembling the dash after last weekends radio install.

That video does show a good method for sure but it is a 4 door giving you a lot better leverage using the door post.

Sill plate is the aluminum piece that covers the top of the rocker panel. I should have said rocker panel but my remeberer is failing and my forgetterer is improving daily.
