cny first gen 71 Posted November 1, 2022 Share Posted November 1, 2022 I've seen worse, the one that was under my back seat was worse and there wasn't one above the gas tank. Have you ever had the seats out to check to see if any are in there. How about the carpeting, have you had any of it out. Glen Posted November 2, 2022 Share Posted November 2, 2022 Awesome!! When my mechanic has his ‘71 SS, he also found a build sheet on the tank when he dropped it for repairs. It was so fragile, he was afraid to try and remove it. Instead, he took pictures of it and then applied several light coats of varnish to it.
