GM Rally Wheel ID

Willie asked me a question yesterday about Rally wheel ID codes. I found this list on the Corvette forum a while back (though the exact list showed up in a few other places too). It also mentioned the 'K' code stamps as being the assembly plant and date, ex. K-1-9(or 8), should be Kelsey Hayes, Plant #1, 1969. The list seems to be pretty comprehensive, and if there is any interest in keeping this permanent I can pin it here, and/or create a separate page for our 'Resources' section. Also modified the list a little to make it a bit easier to read.

Let me know if there are any errors & I'll research & correct.

* All the hubcaps interchange with each other.

More info on the date code:

where:
K = Kelsey-Hayes
1 = Romulus, MI wheel plant
y = calendar year

m = month
dd = day
aa = application code

K19 8 4 YH = a 69 Z28 wheel built by
Kelsey-Hayes for Chevrolet on 8/4/69

Here's a link to the Chevelle site that has a lot of good wheel and code info (Thanks Cody).

You can’t fix it or the thread makes no sense. Now I look like the wingnut instead of you. I’m ok with that though. Lol.

In my defense (as twisted as it may seem), it IS something you would have said 😜
