Compress_20230807_095142_2167.thumb.jpg.b46c0ba6676067e6e57c072723e91a43.jpgHey folks. I am down to the last two pieces of trim removal in prep for body work. I wasn't able to find any info on how to remove these two. If anyone can shed light on this I'd really appreciate it.

Standard "we build them better" back in the day. Things don't just " pop" off like the newer cars.gallery_1763_8_1413157507_2588.jpgSo, what are you doing working on such a nice looking Monte?

I had a couple rust bubbles showing under the vinyl top...it has now progressed to a full blown paint job. I do have another trim question for ya...the two different types of clips that holds the lower trim on- I'm not sure how to get them out yet...will they be reusable?

Ditto as to Steve's post. I'd replace anything that is rusted. You can spend the time and blast them and  paint them with some rust resistant paints, the new ones are supposed to withstand rust. The plastic ones just pop out. Sometimes you can save them. These are also available. I go through Lutty's for all my trim pieces.
