Sam (Bones)
in my opinion.... $500 or more
Jared Richey
in my opinion.... $500 or more $500 is about it. Just sold one the other day for $500! Just depends on how quick you want to sell it. It would go really fast for $300, but you'll get 400-500 if you hold out.
DavidTX
In this area (Central Texas) I have bought and seen two others for $200.00. This is within the last year. All have been in salvage yards or swap meets.

Chevyss
Are you looking for just the carrier?? I have one out of 70 Monte 12 bolt. Not sure what gears R on it, but pay freight and you can have it.
Andy's Auto
I have not done much with 12 bolts since March, but I bought six of them at the Chevy Show between $300 and $450. I was planning on hoarding them until I realized all four of my Montes have them, as does my 90 Jimmy. Does a truck 12 count? Break it down like this. If you have to have a bad boy 12 bolt, buy the housing for whatever you feel it is worth. A set of Strange Street/Strip axles are around $300 shipped. A new Eaton Posi carrier is $400 shipped. The gears and install kit from Summit are $250. Add the narcistical required chrome cover for $15 shipped off eBay, and for around $1350 total if you put it together yourself, you got a rockin rear. So if you see that local eBay auction for $800-$1000 3:31 posi, it might not be such a bad deal if it is nice. Andy
