Thats what we do here, try to help our members!! Dan i thought the white lines and the small brackets didn't look correct, is there anything else that you noticed? I couldn't see the end of the tank for the nipple.

yes I'll measure twice drill once. LoL i originally was in a quandary to drill holes, but i love the look. saw them on a 72 down here the other day, and i really liked them. thank you Dennis.
-
Dennis is great. My parents seemed to like it for some dumb reason too. lol. Are you really sure you want to drill holes in the nice original bumpers? Once you start drilling you can’t go back. I wonder if I have nice bumpers with holes already in them. 🤔🤔 I don’t believe I do. lol. I get on the cleaning tomorrow.

I’ve seen them big things on Monte’s before. Not a fan of the at all. Honestly I’m not the bumper guard type. I think they look strange. But my 72 has the and they will remain.

Wanted: suction/discharge A/C hose for 1970 small block

Boxed and ready. Mail it tomorrow. - Yesterday

Never have. They looked like aftermarket. Don’t remember the rears being space that far apart either. Not sure why there would be 2 sizes unless they were year specific. The ones shown are on a 72.

Rebuilt 3 regulators and thought I would post process hoping it is of some help. 1. carefully remove top circular spring clip that holds all internal parts in place. Measure depth for installation, try not to distort, check pictures, I used a vice and compressed the plunger to gain acces for a small screwdriver to pop out clip. 2. Remove the rest of the parts including schrader valve and clean checking both ports and cylinder bore 3. Install new schrader valve and test. ( missed this step and had to start over due to bad valve) 4. Replace o ring, lube with a small amount of Vaseline lube bore Install remaining parts. 5.install snap ring, I used a vice, but it can be tapped in. Caution, do not press in too far as this sets your pressure. Start a little at a time, pressure should be from 100 - 130 psi. If too low depress further, if too high you have to pull the clip and start over. 6.the picture shows spring replacement (cut to length), o ring replacement and if missing top spring clip the seal shown works fine. As far as I know the parts are not available. Note, you can do all testing on your compressor. Let me know if you have questions
