Tony, Looking very nice. Keep up the work and it will be ready for a debut at the Eastern Meet!!! Every piece you install makes it look more and more like a sweet Monte. I like how you have already installed the protective strips on the lower front part of the front fenders to protect them while installing and aligning your front bumper. rob

Larry, All of us at times have to make decisions to step away from things that we have thrown ourselves into a bit more than we should. It is so easy to let this hobby take over our lives, even though we know we know we need to cut back it is hard. It is a smart person who realizes when that time has come. Hang in there Larry. You will be missed here but most of us have told others in the past that Family Comes First. You have made a very nice tribute to your uncle in what you have done with your car. Take your vacation from us and you are in our thoughts and prayers. When you are ready to return to us we will be here. If you need a sounding board feel free to lean on us. rob

Aaron, what color is your interior? In one of your pictures it looks tan and in the other it looks grey. rob

Not sure about the pulley's but I think both the air cleaner and brackets would be simi-gloss. rob

Does it just float in and out of a hole to prevent crimping or is it held stationary and just flex with the opening and closing of the door? rob

Bill, I agree, it looks very neat BUT I have a question..... How does it work. I can't figure how it goes from the dash, through the door jamb, into the door and finally to the mirror. It seems as you open and close the door it would crimp the cable, unless it is electric. rob

Keep plugging away Tony, it is really coming together nicely!!! Really loving the shine. If you had'nt mentioned not using the proper color silver, I doubt anyone would have noticed. Every little piece you add brings you closer to completion and her maiden voyage. rob

Congrats on your find!! Is there any leakage into the interior or trunk from around the rear window? How is the interior and engine compartment, inquiring minds want to know? The work on the paint looks to be coming along very well, what are you using on it? Thanks for the pictures. rob

This may be true Tony but If he has numerous guns he may not have remembered which one he used on the body. Look on the bright side, he is a friend who is willing to respray them for you, some other places may have told you a line and charged you for the respray. Yes, it is a delay but really just a short one. rob

Tony, to me the extentions look just a little darker but not much. Good luck on the respray. rob
