I'll have to read more on this since my other vehicles are black. Ive used Klasse products in the past with good results and for that occasional car show Surf City the day before. Always learning around here 👍

As always 🤣 I went away from cotton for the exact reasons you described. Ive seen Joe wipe down his Monte and can't argue with the results. Also X2 on the comments not using bleach, fabric softener on cotton or micro fiber. I'm not car show minded, washed my Monte once when I got it, put on a coat of wax and have used a California duster wand since.

Yea I'm pretty much stay with what ive used, but when friends who I know and trust show me stuff they ran across I'm always open to options. I'm ordering one tomorrow, got a $10 coupon so it might cover shipping or taxes 🤣

How do you like the A pillar gauge pod? That was 1 of my 3 options when doing mine, I got the AutoMeter one and dint care for it so ended up mounting them under the dash. Like others have said, Monte looks great. Good Job !

As to my experience, the kick panel/speakers were installed by the PO, never was a parking brake guy until........ When I first used the parking brake it popped off the rubber brake pad, even without the pad I'm very cautious when applying the parking brake. I do like the look and performance of the speakers in the kick panel tho...just my .02

On my 70 the clip was attached to the tube, probably same manifold mount location ?

Can't tell ya how many times ive asked my buddy to stop by and help me out, fixed in 2 minutes 🤣 As Tom said, youll never do it again, lesson learned

As Tom said, end use is very important. If someone is building it for you get their input also.

After all the stories trailer maintenance went to #2 on my to do list. I serviced the wheel bearing last year and only trailered the Monte once 🙃 #1 Is dusting off the Monte and going for at least a small spin, I'm already behind on my schedule (life/work/weather) The trailer may go to #1 if the weather still sux when I get back. I'm not complaining, well maybe just a little whining 🤣Being in So Fl all these years I'm not used to an off season driving the classics

We won't say anything.........except here of course 🤣 And like Dennis said, I'm pretty sure everyone has gotten bad outta the box once or twice

I'd go get it bench tested, eliminate or confirm there is an issue . Hard to trouble shoot not knowing what's actually good. Just my .02

Welcome to the madness ...As been already said, your car, do what you want to it. You could post a few pictures of your new Monte and we will be happy to help you spend money on upgrades or original parts 🤣 Theres a great group of members here on the forums, lots of knowledge and experience. I have the kick panel speakers, very close clearance on the parking brake pedal. I don't know if I need to adjust or tweak the pedal.

I put mine on the fender wall, I tossed a coin for hidden or trouble shooting access. 🤣 Yea I know alot of wire loom, but better than al the different colored wires no matter how nice you lace them in.
