  1. I can't eat cookies any more, so who cares 😆. I used to like the lemon GS cookies. A million years ago there was a Keebler's 'Rich & Chips' that was great, think they're extinct now. Not a fan of Oreos either, Steve.
  2. I didn't change any settings for font size. That field was always there. I just added the ability for different style fonts. Nobody else has had a different sized type since adding the 3 new fields. Basically, you broke something 😄
  3. Legendary has the correct interior stuff, but Dennis T. Knows of other sources. He'll probably give you a better answer when he gets back here.
  4. I tend to use a PC most of the time if posting anything of substance. It's just easier with 2 large screens (32"), a keyboard, and a mouse. So basically, I did it for me, but figured I'd let everyone know the new functions are there. At least if you're aware of them, it may be useful at some point.
  5. The only reason I didn't touch those is the lack of real estate on the toolbar of the smaller devices. If there's something you guys want though, it would probably just add another line of tools below the original, no problem.

Oh yeah. I've had to plow snow around here in May before, so I don't get too far ahead with putting snow equipment away.
  7. Added a couple new options to the 'Editor' toolbar that may be useful. These will mainly show up on the full size screens, - tablets & phones are not included (unless someone wants them added). - Included is the 'Superscript' button, good for things like temperatures, to add the 'degree' symbol at the upper right (90o), or numbers (20th). - Next is the 'Background Color' button, good for highlighting text. (I think this will be the most useful addition). - Last is the ability to customize the font if you want something different to bring attention to a subject. (I tend to just switch text to italics though, if trying to highlight a quote or text from another source). Any comments or suggestions are welcome. There are a few more options available, but for the most part doubt they will add any value. Subscript: Highlight: Font:

    You know it 😉
  9. Yep, take it out and give it a little load, it'll help seat the piston rings. Not redline, but don't be afraid to put your foot in it a bit. Just running it at idle or on a test run stand isn't enough.

I rotate between the rest areas . That being said, I just got back from a good bicycle ride to the Niagara Falls a little bit ago. Lot of tourists out there today. Tomorrow is supposed to be near 70o and sunny, I'll be out there again if possible.

Dogs are napping right with me. They're just as lazy as me.
  13. I'm looking thru my instructions right now & it says exactly that. The way I mocked it up initially, it was probably real hard to connect the service hose, and I think I didn't like how close that cycling switch was to the hood spring either (on the rear most port).
  14. I think there was only one spot to mount the switch on my POA manifold. The other available ports were for the temperature sense capillary tube, and the oil drain back tube. Basically, every available port had a specific purpose. The one with the blue cap is the service port, obviously. One pic of the top side, and a couple pics from the bottom:
  15. I didn't like how the one hose crossed over the engine either, though the stock hoses follow the same sort of path. My setup had a set of instructions, but for the most part they just tell you to route the hoses, mark the length & clock position of fitting to hose, and then get them crimped. I ordered a longer length of hose and another fitting and made it run forward, under the core support, come out near the battery and then hook up as intended. It didn't make the hose length that much longer as to be a concern about charge capacity, or efficiency (I asked them). The pics in this post will give you a rough idea what it looks like: https://www.firstgenmc.com/forums/index.php?/topic/19368-new-guy-here/page/7/#comment-213101 You can see I rotated the compressor 90 degrees too, while still maintaining the proper orientation of the oil drain position as mentioned in the instructions, to keep the unit lubricated correctly. As far as hose, yes, with R134A, it is suggested to get 'Barrier' hose. The 134 molecule is smaller than R-12, so the newer hoses have an inner barrier to contain the smaller molecule better. If you have any local radiator shops, or places that do A/C work, they'll probably crimp the hose for you vs. sending it back to the vendor to crimp as they offer. Technically, the crimpers should use the correct die for barrier hose too. I think I got the hose from 'Auto Cooling Solutions' at the time, 9 feet of Parker Futura #10 barrier hose, and the new 90 degree, #10 fitting came from Original Air. (I chose this particular hose to match what came with my A/C system at the time, not sure if they use the same exact type now). I ordered the hose direct from them, but they even have an ebay store: https://www.autocoolingsolutions.com/products/10-ac-barrier-hose https://www.ebay.com/itm/175262077675?chn=ps&mkevt=1&mkcid=28&srsltid=AfmBOoq8QG5oPHSbgbXxLAQGvB6NwBp3HzhPu5qcDrt-48aIjgQgt-F9ZLk Here is what I picked off my Original Air invoice for that new fitting: Item: 14-2035 #10 Female O-Ring #10 BL90' $3.80 You have my number, call if you want to talk. 🙂

Usually napping by the time the sun goes down. Then up all night from midnight on...
  17. That's a 1000% better than the plate they include in their kit. Also one of the reasons I didn't choose them when I re-did the A/C in my car at the time. There were a couple other things as well, but in my case it made sense to just get the Stage 3 kit from Classic Auto Air. Great Job!

It really is a night/day difference for about 12 minutes work and the roughly $40 cost of the LEDs. I don't tend to drive much at night anyways now, but it's better to have it & not need it...

    Heads

I though you mentioned something about a short measurement, may have mis-read what you posted. You said your present ones are .115 too short, so I figured maybe a lash cap would help in the right direction?

What about lash caps? They slip over the top of valve stem. My Z28 has them on there, roller cam, etc.
