  1. Maury says: ”When it comes to 6 year old DJ (🤔… Dennis Jr.?)… Dennis, you ARE the father”!! [rolling around on the ground as if he’s having a seizure while break dancing and primitive wails of “That’s my boy”!!! from Dennis]
  2. Ha! After all this, they’d probably be best off if raised by the state.
  3. It wasn’t an easy journey. Dennis fought me at every turn. Said some very hurtful things and brought up others that he swore would never see the light of day as long as either of us were still alive. But we persevered and overcame monumental obstacles. Joe’s role as unbiased mediator also played a key role. We’re both better men thanks to this process. Love conquers all, Mark. ❤️🤗😘🥰❤️🤗😘🥰❤️🤗😘🥰
  4. G67 was available as an option on non-SS models IIRC. However, other confirmation supporting legitimacy would be Box #27 (‘RN’) - as in ‘CRN’ and Boxes #97 & #98 (‘AC-LABELS 454-360HP’). Bbbuuuutttt… does this partial build sheet actually belong to the car being sold? I’d lean toward “yes”, as what’s the likelihood of having a partial build sheet to another 1970 Monte Carlo SS? Serious buyers should demand pictures of any and all numbers on block, trans and diff as well as a picture of the cowl tag to see if the trim and paint color there matches what’s reflected on the build sheet (Boxes #43 and #44). Doesn’t mean the car couldn’t have changed colors during its lifetime (as it has), but it’s more clues in the right direction as original paint color can surely be located on that car. Front springs (Box #13), Radiator (Box #46) and Column Shift (Boxes #94 and #95) are also clues. I’m leaning toward legit, but due diligence authenticating would be a must.
  5. So this decreaser of which you speak? Can I assume it eliminates blemishes such as the one pictured below?…
  6. Horrible to hear news like this. Condolences to his family and friends.
  7. Happy New Year to everyone. May you all keep any resolutions you may set. To that end, my resolution is to continue to be the catalyst for FGMCC’s “Coolest Club” designation as bestowed upon us at Carlisle 2023. It’s what I do.
  8. Better late than never… Merry Christmas to everybody, hope time was spent with family and friends.
  9. I was just thinking how Walter must’ve studied the Tretter Technique in parts photography.
  10. Welcome Adam. I’ll Zelle or Venmo you $20 if you leave an Upper Decker next time you’re at Dennis’s house.
  11. I asked him to keep me in mind for the components needed to assemble the whole system. If I don’t hear anything from him in a reasonable amount of time, I’ll send him another message and make the inquiry regarding him making them.
  12. The gentleman responded to me already. I mentioned what Rob told me regarding the Monte lenses only having two bubbles, whereas other GM vehicles having three. here’s what he had to say…
  13. I forgot that I found this guy a while back, I just sent him an email through eBay asking if he reproduces the correct ones for our Montes. I’ll advise once I get a response. He’s got green and white listed for “Camaro”, but it’s still appears to have a total of three bubbles on the lense. https://www.ebay.com/itm/385558824474
  14. Count me in on the wishlist. If someone DOES (re)make the correct lense, I’d consider buying the new incorrect re-popped sentrys and swap lenses.
  15. Oh yeah. Huge money cars. We were playing “pick any 3 you’d take home if you were rich” and it was almost impossible to narrow it down. Donald E. Steven’s Center in Rosemont. Highly recommend getting there when it comes around again.
  16. Went to the Muscle Car & Corvette Nationals today… … not a single First Gen in the sea of at least 600 cars. Therefore no pix will accompany this comment. But a great show nonetheless.
  17. Welcome!!! Car looks and sounds awesome.
  18. Horrible news. Sorry for your loss and condolences to your entire family. May the miserable [censored] who took your loved one suffer a worse fate.
  19. Just my two cents… the white wall makes it look too much like a target. Too many “rings”… white wall, black side wall, chrome, trim ring, black wheel and center cap. A black sidewall tire would break it up nicely. Even raised white lettering would probably look better than the white walls.
  20. Would have never noticed had I not read your post. My ‘70 did NOT have them from the factory. The ones I bought (from OPGI, if memory serves me correctly) when I redid the interior have the trim. Before and after pix…
  21. Took advantage of the mild temps to get the ‘70 tucked away for the winter. Similar weather predicted for tomorrow, so it’ll be the ‘71s turn. Summer went wayyyyy too fast… again. Let’s see if the pix load sequentially…
  22. Can you do me a favor? Keep buying cars until you get one with the Vigilite fiber optic system I need for my ‘70.
