  1. Mine was removed by a previous owner..... How's the rust underneath ?
  2. Never had much luck with DeWalt.... Couldn't get more than 9 months out of their drills. Wound up going with Bosch and still have some that are over 10 years old...... But they've discontinued the batteries, so I have to get them rebuilt at the local Battery World.
  3. Looks staged.... The truck hesitates a couple times before he hits.
  4. Now that would be an interesting hood to open !! Santa's just around the corner....
  5. Put a dish of pellets inside, and my "mechanic" comes by daily.... So that should keep things under control.
  6. Maybe he just wants to take a look at the "mouse" motor ?
  7. He's a FGMCC member in South Carolina, has been rebuilding Montes and has garages full of parts.
  8. Ping pong balls would make it cheaper to fill.... And give you something to do when you run out of gas.

Another thing to make note of is how much it will read from a thumb drive. Extra features, like a tape/disc player reduce the file space available. I have two pretty much identical units, in different cars, and the one without holds 3x the files irrelevant of which thumb drive I use.

Still have a copy of "Dark Side of the Moon" on 8 track kicking around here somewhere......
  11. Anyone ever try a set of Webers on their car ?
  12. Some might even qualify as "returned from the grave" ?
  13. Hey Bob, just curious..... What are you using for a transmission ?? If you change up to a 200r4/700r4, the linkage geometry will change. But there are kits for that as well....
  14. There is still some '80's nudity..... But it never ends well. lol
  15. The missing V12 explains the long cowling..... But wasn't it a '67 ??? lol
  16. O.K..... The brain fog has cleared a bit.... (lol) If memory serves, it was 1984's "Silent Night, Deadly Night". I was confusing it with 1974's "Black Christmas"..... Sorry, no college girls.
  17. I think that's the same car from an old Santa "slasher" flick...... Can't remember the name, but it involved college girls with very little clothing getting diced up at Christmas....
  18. The ones I get a chuckle out of are these guys at car gatherings that come with their "restored" classics, yet have never touched a wrench in their lives. And proceed to pick out the flaws (or alterations) of cars that the owners have "lovingly" rebuilt with their own hands. LOL
  19. Unibodies still have "sub frames", so "frame off" rebuilds still include them..... As far as I can see.
  20. You might want to try Jared Richey..... He's had lots of parts and pieces, and he's just over in South Carolina.
  21. And they're a touch shorter too.... Easier to install.
