Yes vin needs to match the last didgits on each engine,tranny axle etc if not a match not matching #s -
Yes looks like a great place? negative side he takes for me anyway way too long 3 phone calls 2 emails finally after 2 weeks a answer..

Not a relay High speed blower is only direct 30 amp circuit on a 71 a White fuse holder with orange wire black wire other easy to spot top of evaporator case at the firewall.

at pass side cowl area just were the wiring tube ends or inside it at the end is a 30 amp fuse for high speed blower only bad fuse or connection.

I looked through my spare carb parts & couldn't find what your looking for without stripping a good carb. I would think you could take your carb parts to a good old fashion hardware store & they would have a thread gauge & get you what you need. Bob

Driveshaft angle correct?? Put a simple angle gauge on it. My memory isn't great but it should be less than 5 degrees??

What relay are you talking about?? Should only be a turn signal switch under the wheel. Are you talking about the spring etc for horn button? Is the contact plate on the button side with 3 screws all you need to change position?? Add some pics would help.

At idle at least 10Lbs hot when cold 40-60 lbs. Did you ck sending unit wire to make sure its not touching anything metal ground? melted etc all gauges work to ground if the wire is touching ground anywhere it will light the indicator light.

In my research for 700r4 I found out that there was & is a very limited# of tail extensions (used) for that tranny have a rear cross member mount built into them, Which made my install easy & only had to re-drill one frame hole using my stock cross member. I ck driveshaft geometry & came up with a 1 inch shorter energy trans mount which put the driveshaft angle right one. Bob

Well anyone watching my orginal post, I have a tip for you, I sent a spare carb base to a company Carb Junkys Atlanta GA & they are rebuilding the base bushing etc but updating the throttle arm to a mid 80S Monte SS so I will have the proper hook-up for the TV cable, No micky mouse adapters will look stock rebuilt/replated correct arm $75. Later Bob PS ordered a Monster Tranny

don't forget if you go to an older Qjet you need to change throttle arm to a late model one so you can hook up the TV cable with correct fitting & cable lenght & geomerty or you bun up tranny. Bob
