  1. Not sure how far your going on front end or how experienced you are but some parts of that can be very dangerous, be very careful!
  2. I agree Dennis I can't do that stuff and my brother is just as bad at body work as me lol. But he has a friend of his that's a great metal and body guy. I'm not terrible at finishing but takes me twice as long. Great work there.
  3. I learned that here from Aaron, I always had a helper at the shop that would pull down in the tire to get them in. One time at the shop I worked at was working on a ferd and another guy put a pry bar between the axel and frame to get a spring in well the bar slipped and I moved out of the way but my foot stayed planted on the floor my knee twisted nicely had surgery 3 weeks later was out of work for 10 weeks that's why I'm always very careful working on stuff now. Safety first.
  4. If you put a jack on the opposite side jack it up a bit it should slide right in then do the same on the other side you don't need spring compressor. Of course with any spring installation be careful they can jump out and bite.
  5. She was a dirty girl, glad you got her cleaned up and back to her glory.
  6. She's beautiful for her age and miles. Like a fine wine or a woman gets better with age!
  7. The only draw back to full synthetic oil is that it will find very small leaks but the 10w30 may not be to bad. The other thing is back in the day when switching from regular oil to synthetic it may use a a quart or so quickly so check oil often if your switching. I like the fact that it has all the additives. Please let us know how it works out for you as it may be another choice to use. I use the lucas hot rod oil now with no problems really. Mine will probably be rebuilt in the next 5000 miles or so.
  8. That's awful Willie, I am so sorry to hear this. So sorry for your and your family's loss.
  9. I like the look, I had baby moons with black rims and trim rings on my 64 elcamino back In the day.

  19. I agree some of the snap on stuff is way better and worth the money. I bought a 3/8 blue point air ratchet years ago still works great, one of my favorite tools. Also have 2 3/8 snap on impact wrenchs great little tools. Have a lot of there other stuff too from back when I worked in shops.
