What did you do to your Monte Carlo today?
cny first gen 71 replied to Canuck's topic in General 70-72 Monte Carlo Forum
Last ride already? I don't put mine away yet, hopefully get a few more rides in before putting it away. -
Love 62 chevys not crazy on the paint sceam and yea lots of detail needed and that fuel filter would be the first to go. All this talk got me thinking I wonder if the headers will work with the heads I have so I dug one out and tried it. The other headers I have will not work with the angle plugs. Good news these work 😁 can't get socket on some but that's ok. Thought I throw in a picture too.

I got some ceramic header paint from a guy at Carlisle a few years back. Lightly sand blasted the new headers and sprayed them good. They look great now all I gotta do is get them put on and see how they hold up. So I guess I'm no real help 🙃 but look great right now sitting in the spare room.

I gotta tell everyone here that I love this family, yes I said family not club because that's what it is. I joined many years ago and over the years I have made some very good friends. I've been through some very personal and physical issues especially lately and I've had nothing but support from this family. If there's anyone on the fence about joining and paying the minimal fee to join its well worth every penny. I can always come here no matter how far I am down in the dumps I am and always enjoy myself. I love the friendships and the banter between members. Thank each and every one of you for helping me through my hard times, I love you all! I could go on for hours about all the great members on here but I won't, thank you all!

FOUND! : rear bumper brackets
cny first gen 71 replied to BobW's topic in Cars and Parts For Sale/Wanted
Perfect, I do remember mine when I had my bumper off and figured it wouldn't be that bad. Great job now we know. I actually didn't paint mine when they were off, they barely had surface rust on them. -

Was thinking same thing Dan, could probably make something up pretty easily Bob if you can't find anything decent. -

Dan the one I used was from Midwest fastners on there board the # is 54. I looked I do have an extra one in you want it. I bought a few a while back and gave a couple to other members your welcome to it, I can get more at my local ace hardware if I ever need them. It's the one that's missing on the end because I took it off way back when, they got more in but never replaced it. -
Oh yea that I know but I'll deal with that down the road, probably valve seal and guides I assume. But was just wondering if there's any advantage. I did research on it just wanted maybe some other opinions.
