Are you talking about the 4 speed hump that gets welded to the floor for the rubber boot and retaining ring?If so that part is for sale on ebay and in all the catalogs, such as National Parts Depot and so on. In my next post will be a picture of what I think you mean. Here is a link to this item.

The only bracket that is not part of the plastic console base is for the rear console compartment. This is a steel bracket that gets welded to the trans hump.
Red line gauge can fix your gauge issues. Can you post a picture of your radio hole areas. I restore a lot of Monte/ Chevelle dashes. Have fixed many with radio hole issues. I am only about two hours away from you in Hartford, WI.
Sounds like you bought the two piece kit. I suggest you sell those and get the 4 piece kit. The 4 piece kits are the way it was done from the factory. If you use the 2 piece kit your seats will sit crooked. They will also rub your seat belt retractors. They are not worth installing. They are not correct. Do yourself a favor and do it right the first time. You will be happy you did.
15/16 inch would be correct unless it has the F41 suspension option. Then it would have 1 1/8 inch front sway bar. If the car has boxed rear control arms then it would have the 1 1/8 inch front bar.
I get them from sonnie24 on ebay. Here is a link for the printed circuit board.

I would have to say a garage and a car cover. Seems like when ever I tried treating any of mine they cracked all to hill. Just wash it with a mild soap and water, is what I would do. That is the way I take care of my new top on my 71 Monte. 20 years later it and it still looks like new.
You can eliminate the Amp gauge by removing the black wire with a white stripe and the solid black wire from the connector that plugs into the back of the printed circuit board. They are in locations #3 and #4 in that plug. Wrap them up well with electrical tape. They could also be removed from the fuse block if that seems easier for you. They are in locations C-X and D-X in the fuse block. Do not cut them out remove the terminals from the plug or the fuse block in case later a person wants to set things back up as they were from GM.
