  1. Stick with the 12 Chevy rear. A lot of the B.O.P. rears were 10 bolt housings that were drilled out for the 12bolt cover from the factory.
  2. Just make sure that the one from the Olds is a real 12 bolt. The B.O.P (buick ,olds, pontiac) rear used ten bolt guts but was drilled for a 12 bolt cover. They are usually cheaper because of this reason.
  3. You could try the Englishtown swapmeet at the end of Sept. i think its the 27-29.You will save alot on shipping.I have spots RD7-9 and may have some Monte parts there,or just come by and say Hello.

  10. You have to look at your u-joint it might bolt right in.I had to get what is called a "trick joint" it has the small caps on one side and the large caps on the other.I got it at my local NAPA auto parts. Also look to see if your joint has inner or outer clips,or if it is org.to the car it may still have the nylon in it.

  12. Yes James the rear end will bolt in with no problem. You may need to change you ujoint on your drive shaft.I put a 12 bolt from a 70 MC into my 69 Lemans convert.with no problem i needed to change the ujoint.
  13. I would dye it,the dye will hold better to the vinyl and is more flexable. The column should be satin.
  14. I was looking through paint codes and charts and seems like code 67 Classic Copper was a 1 year color on Monte carlos 1971 ,Is this true? I found it for 2 years on Chevelles and Camaros 70-71.
