Murphy
I've installed a set of hedmans, full length with no issues. Now I got these used (1000 miles on them) off CL. So I don't know the exact part# but I have the same setup, SBC350, AC, PS, PB. But my car is Burnt Orange so who knows...........
footballubet
I have a set of Summit ceramic coated headers on mine. No hammer required for installation.

monte70car
Take a look at part number HED-68296 from Summit racing. I believe that is the part number a buddy of mine used on his 72 small block with no fitment issues.
Hoodicoff1
http://www.jegs.com/i/Hooker/520/2466/10002/-1 I had a set of long tube headers, first time I unloaded the car off a car hauler they were destroyed. These headers fit great, and I don't notice any performance difference
ClassicJJ
Would you have any pics of those headers so I can try and find them on the web?

Leghome
I have hooker headers(no idea what model) and am running the 700R4 tranny with no problems
footballubet
You'll be ok with that trans. I too have the 700R4.
Hoodicoff1
I'm also running a 700r4 with those headers. The ONLY problem I had with em is I had to use a couple of smaller header bolts due to clearance issues with an opened ended wrench. They've been on the car for 5 years now and the finish still looks the same as they day they were bolted on
Leghome
Yes on the header bolts I had to take an old end wrench and grind the box end thinner in order to tighten up one of the bolts even with a smaller head.
ClassicJJ
Hey thank you guys so much I think I'm going to go with that set of hooker headers then.
Rock
How are the Summit headers for rust? Any advantage with going ceramic coated? I would hate to put out $350 and have them rust and look like crap in a month or two.
cny first gen 71
Ceramic is the way to go, look better, last longer and even run cooler they say.
footballubet
The ceramic Summit headers I run have been on for 6 years and still look like the day I put them on. Sure beats the painted ones that rust in a day.

I definitely need to replace mine so i will try the Summit brand.

Rock
If posted a pic of my headers I have now does anyone think they could identify them?
footballubet
I'll get a picture this afternoon. I'm moving it out of it's winter hibernation into it's Summer position. After the snowblower and all the winter thing get put away from the garage.
