Mounting Electric Fan...Brackets help.

I have a good working electric fan and want to put it on the Red Car in my signature. The Radiator I have is basically the same size and thickness of an original copper one for a Big Block, but it is a Griffin Radiator/Aluminum.

I have fan, but no mounting brackets. Can someone lead me in the right direction of where to get mounts for the fan, looks like to me mounting it is very important as you don't want to cause damaged to your radiator.

Not sure if you are leaving on the stock fan and shroud or going electric only ?

I just bought these two items for a car that I was working on. The shroud fit great on the 28" X 19" Howe aluminum radiator.

That fan looks identical to the one I have, and it was given to me, it actually came off of a 72 Monte that had a 468, but when Kevin's uncle bought it he put a shroud and fan back on it.

Oh really? These have the neat foam pads with them...did you have problems with the same setup? I ran mine for about 3 yrs and then relocated my fan; couldn't even tell where the old set had been.

These are the ones I used on my now Ex Monte. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-329725/overview/

Of course, they fit perfect with the square appearance of a Be Cool Radiator.

Mark, I thought about getting the ones you listed but didn't like the way the fan would be mounted. JM2C - Dave
