red/white04
Trolling around on summits web site and yet I don't see a suspension bushing kit for our Montes. Are they the same as the Chevelle? I know the Monte is a longer sexier Chevelle an all but I wasn't sure if the Monte had and variances if the bushing departments. I'm guess this would be the same answer for the body bushings as well? Thanks, Matt
monte70car
Matt our monte's use the same bushings as 70-72 chevelle. The Monte is part of the Abody line even with the 116" center to center wheel base
stangeba
I remember the front suspension on some first gen's had OVAL bushings on the lower control arms (rear mounting point only) but most had round bushings. Someone else will probably fill in what I don't know. I will put in my $0.02 and say i would never again use urethane bushings. I have the ones that don't squeak but........... after 5 years or so, they were noisy first only when cold, then all the time. Spayed the heck out of them all with silicone, it lasted a year or so. Sam (Bones)
the urethane ones don't last as long as the rubber one either

abe72
Will be replacing my front bushings soon as well. Is the conensus here - rubber over urethane? Also, what brand have you all had the best results? Thanks Abe
