Question I had when I was forced to update to 11.

How to I move start stop button back to the left side (like Windows 10) on Windows 11?

For the answer, Check this link out!

I don't know why they can't just leave things alone. You finally learn how to use windows and then they change it on you. Thanks for the info

You can download the free start menu button from https://www.classicshell.net/

It works great and it always stays in the lower left corner of the system tray.

Sometimes when you update Windows it will ask to be updated/reconfigured, but it's free and it mimics the start menu of Windows 7, which I thought was the best start menu ever.

I've been using that for years, love it. Even though that version is not supported anymore, it does still work on Win 11.

This is the replacement for it, though I still use the old version without any issues.:
