leelee
There are two very thin wires comming out beside the speedometor. Can you tell me what they are for and what they hook up too. I used to know but can't remember.
monte70car
What year is the car in question? One thing running in my mind is the door chime when the key is in the switch and the door is open.

leelee
Yes, that is what it is the PRNDL but it doesn't have the little plate on them. How can i fix that? Oh Yeah it's a 1972
monte70car
I was going to say 10lbs fishing line works, but since you don't have the plate that screws on to the column it might not work. Usual that breaks when you forget to remove the screw that holds the plate to the column, it could be the plate is still on the column and in that case the fish line will work. leelee
Thank you very much. I will check and see if it is still on the column. Y'all are a lot of help.
D.E
I forgot to unscrew when I remove column but it just pulled out of plate so I took small bit opened up holder and was able to recrimp wire in holder,Was lucky
