So I noticed prepping the Monte for Carlisle that the drivers seat was missing some of the "chrome" trim on the back lower on the driver seat 🙃And neither the driver nor the passenger seat had the trim on the lower seat. I ordered a kit (and NO I'm not doing the lower next to the console yet) I did the lowers today and will probably replace the drivers back tomorrow. I'm going through my list of non-essential projects 🤣

Just like the whining in Carlisle after he rolled in with a blue oval ride 🙃

As Steve said I'd try this first "There is an adjustment on the gear box if it's not worn out that is. A lot are going with close ratio gear boxes which I will do when the time comes." On the Borgenson If you already have power steering all you need is the additional coupler "Special Attention: Models older than 1977 require BRG-990012 steering coupler. Requires power steering pitman arm. Includes adapters to accept either o-ring or inverted flare fittings. Features 3/4 in.-30 spline input shaft."

I was just checking on the auction status, 20K so far. Another thing that could get confusing, both battery cables are red. Just made me laugh 🤣

X2...If you found a nice SS and that's the only issue grab it. You'll probably be able to find a replacement barrel before you find another SS of your liking

I think DOT 3, maybe 4. Ive heard DOT 5 isnt as nasty to paint and such but has a different feel some don't like .
