Ive seen this thread in the past but never really dove into it because of more pressing matters/projects. Had some extra time so went to the YouTube channel and watched the 15 minute video. Very well done and explained so even a Monte newb could follow along Glad the product is doing well.

I was talking to my buddy about it, he said since some states have inspections they may not pass a vehicle that was made with a cat and wasn't installed. Sorry Rob I wasn't privy to the year of the truck. 🤣 We havent had inspections in FL for years so it never crossed my mind. I know when I moved to Ca with my non-ca truck they taxed the heck outta me 😛There musta been a lwasuit because I got some of that $$$ back in a few years 🙃

Yea I know everything on the web is the truth but found it interesting so thought I'd share "I was at Mecum today and I was talking to a guy that was running his Dodge gas pickup through, he told me that Mecum inspected the truck before the auction and told it needed to have to catalytic converters put back on before they would accept it."

I spent some time trying to clean off my bench after the last project, got down to 2X2 area before I called it quits. The bench is better but now I have a box on the shelf labeled bench s**t 🤣

I'm just throwing this out there, I have a Custom Autosound 630 that the PO installed, and I don't like it. I do have an amp in the trunk and upgraded speakers. But it does look good in the dash. Now the disclaimers 🤣 I do agree with hating cutting the dash, and I'm NOT a stock / original guy so I don't know if "for looks" it would pass at a show. My problem is the USB option, its flakey at best. That being said, and technology the way it is it may be just me. I have 2.0 USB's, they work fine in my 2017 DD, but when I tried 3.0 USB's in my DD they aren't even recognized. So I guess my point is, do your homework on what's important to you, looks and then what your actually going to use it for.

I can't give you anything installed at night before or after if that's what your asking for. I went with these because the lighting at the end of the track for the turn off lanes is not the best and they were recommended by another member here. If you just want only appearance here ya go. Disclaimer, they were adjusted on the back wall of the garage during the day, may take some tweaking for actual night time 🤣But they are truly plug and play,

I always add a X2 to the comments of attending without your Monte. Ive been to 2 meets without mine and had a great time! Hopefully this year mine will be in tow 🤣 I always enjoy the gathering at nite in the parking lot, and yes if your not careful you may end up way past your bedtime without knowing it Its nice to meet the members, and put a face and a car in your head

Ive seen a few Tesla's at the track, heard they are quick, never really paid attention nor have I lined up next to one. Also heard they have to charge between rounds, I shouldn't talk tho, if I ever get past the 2nd round again I'll be dumping more fuel in my tank 🤣
