    Hey buddy, the air cleaner was missing the original when I purchased the car... but I’ve heard the cleaner that came with the point distributor won’t fit without modifying.. glad to know some will.. joe just sent me a PM..     Would like to purchase an original style air cleaner for 71 454, turbo jet. The engine has an HEI distributor. Not sure if another year would work or the points distributor air cleaner could be modified in someway... if you have one please respond here or a PM , thanks , Ron T....

    Yal, I would love to find a fe w of those kinda junk yards on, but those cars were either rotted down or crushed and sold for the metal,,, too bad too sad.

    Nope, didn’t notice the crack or cracks in the grill. And I’m not a professional auto restorer, so I not sure it could be salvaged.. I would hope so tho..

    I wouldn’t give it $$$.. lots of more money would have to be put in it afterwards.. unless you wanted a driver... for a driver it’s way overpriced.. btw.. no gauge package on an SS ? Is that strange ? ...

    From June 15 th this year to Oct 29 th today , the 4600 ford is finally finished.. new sleves crank polished, crank bearing , rod bearings, standard pistons, standard rings , all reassembled and run like a new tractor … 225$ to mill the head , 500$ to have sleves installed. I had to dissemble by the way … 500$ parts . Much cheaper than a new tractor…
