  1. Has anyone installed one? Where did you mount your microphone?
  2. You can use the stock coil, wires and plugs. I have installed the Pertronix ignition on three GM cars. Be sure to bypass the ballast resistor so you will get full voltage to the coil. I recommend the LS model for longivity.
  3. Thanks for your help, I placed an order with them.
  4. Does anyone know where I can purchase these?
  5. I used VHT Flame Proof cast iron gray on my exhaust manifolds 10 years ago and it is holding up well.

  15. It attaches to the drivers side of the carburator near the throttle cable. I have a Turbo 400, so I can't send a photo. Perhaps someone can send you a photo of their setup.
  16. I always use synthetic in everything, because it promotes lower wear, better fuel ecinomy and better cold and heat protection. I asked a Mobil Oil Company chemist for a recommendation, he recommended Their 5W40 Turbo Diesel MOTOR Oil. This oil meets the requirements for gasoline engines as well as diesels, and is high in ZDDP. Synthetic oils do not cause leaks, but they can make them worse if they exist.
