Ditto on decisions, and haunting decisions, so many have I had concerning my automobiles. But with that being said, I wouldn"t have bloo 402 if the owner hadn't as he put it"got bored". now I will say his choice of replacement was a 56 Ford pickup Customized....... no I don't have to pull the bumper to install guards. but I think the magnet trick could work. I have access to industrial ones, have fabricated several repairs and attachment fixes in the past on my farm equipment. I'm not being a smart Alek guys, just looking at a situation where I won't have to drill. and I can make sure they're placed correctly. Now I do believe that I'll have to at least loosen the rear bumper to install and correctly secure the missing rear bumper side seals. can't see a way to just slide them in behind the bumper and secure properly, but any suggestions are most greatly appreciated. I appreciate your comments, suggestions, and input. steve

I think that they are aftermarket bumpers sir. no holes for the guards that I can see. However holes are visible in the body for the side seals.

I'm going to bond magnets to them and try that way first. I have a mad scientist plan !!!!! 🦝

yeah, I mean really! I've got cancer, can barely walk and well this time last year I was 245lbs of are you kidding. he must look at my present 175lbs at 6'2" and thought what a easy mark. Glen I focused my blue eyes on him and said @#*&^%$# and the mule he rode in on. Feel sorry about cussing his mule. but no really he thought he was doing me a favor! Said if it took longer he would advise me of approximately how much more it would be. UGH. I'm sure it"s worth me to give it a try, even with my medical issues. thank you for understanding.

had a body shop yesterday try to tell me for 5 to 800.00 dollars they would schedule me up,and I had the car there for them to look at. ridiculous I said.

Going to attempt to install a set of rear bumper side seals on my 70 402. they were missing when I purchased it. took 8 YES 8 months to get from OPGI. No surprise, huh. I have read up from our site on rear bumper removal, looks pretty straight forward. Hope it's ok to let my endeavors known in this space on our site. wouldn't want to upset anyone if I'm in the wrong forum. I'm having a great time trying to communicate appropriately. Still struggling with the clock, so thought to try something else. wish me some luck, please.
