Just a thought, the center link will not drop down very much while attatched to the idler arm. maybe its seperated , but you cannot pull it down enough to tell? bob

Thats a great deal.! looks like there are bumper bracket s with it...those alone are worth 40 bucks. I would snap that up if I needed it. bob

spectra is in canada. you can get a great price on a new on. spectra is the best. find a supplier in your area. gooogle it?

when i went to the monroe training class,they recommended cycling them a few times to get everything back where it belongs. they are shipped on their side and are designed to operate standing up. i use alot of them and have 0 failures/complaints. bob

looks like the locks r upside down the taper should go down into the spring topper

you may have to alter the core support as well as the headlight buckets. they look nice

CHECK YOUR VACUUM WITH A GAUGE AT IDLE AT THE MODULATOR

does it hace a big cam in the motor? the only way to adjust the govenor that i know of is by changing the wieghts.not recommended.

if it is shifting late i would check the vacuum source at the modulator. no or low vacuum will cause late shifts

i removed them ,but i pretty much rewired the whole engine bay etc.

new everything is plug and play except the power and ground

there no wiring that can remember that is reused.

the reason the broken bolt was loose is because it tightens by drawing the pieces down on each other ,not tightening in the hole.

im pretty sure it should have the joc. if you dont have the bracket,that explains the broken bolt all the bbc i have had ,have the bolt...but non of them are original

the strap is there to aid the installer. not sure if it adds strenght?

i had that bolt break on mine once there is a spacer that should bolt to the alternator housing. its a tube with a strap welded to it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BIG-BLOCK-CHEVY-...r#ht_367wt_1091

i would think if your readings are even and above 100 psi you should be good. rule of thumb is 10% between highest and lowest reading.

im no tranny guy...but it sounds like the parking paw is not installed properly. i think you can see it with the pan off . thats all i got.
