  1. Nice info. It's always nice to learn something new about the history of the Monte Carlo. Thanks for sharing it with us.
  2. Welcome to the FGMCC Family !!!
  3. Congrats, on getting her back on the road. By the way Scott, when is the Camaro getting back out there? Plenty of cruise spots and the right weather is here !!!!
  4. Welcome !!! Now that you have been bitten by the "Monte Bug" and become a member of the FGMCC, you will enjoy your car more, spend plenty of time on the FGMCC site, and enjoy your new Monte family !!!
  5. Nice job. Lots of hard work, but well worth it. Keep up the good work !!!
  6. It's always good to do "the right thing". I am a firm believer in "what goes around, comes around". I hope you enjoy your valve covers!
  7. Looks really good. Keep up the good work. It shows !!!!
  8. I missed my weekly Sunday ride to Captree / OBI to meet "the boys for coffee" this morning due to my daughter's Lacrosse game. I did meet up with Steve Levanti later and we went to local annual "car show" and had a good time. I installed my new FGMCC Radiator Cover earlier this week, and it was a big hit at the show.
  9. No reason for a spool on the street. It's for track use only. It will destroy tires and axles on the street.
  10. I know some of the "guys" at Protorque, and have dealt with them on a professional and non-professional basis. I have used them in the past and they are "true gentlemen" who build a quality product. They have been "true to their word", to me and I have no problem recommending them. Threir customer service is excellent. I am planning to use them again in the near future. Any questions, please PM me.
  11. Prayers for all of Ronnie's family and friends. May he be with the rest of our departed FGMCC family, benchracing from above.
  12. Davey, Glad you have some nice weather and the car is running consistent numbers. Enjoy !!!
  13. Hey Dave, Happy New Year. I have installed a complete Pypes 2 1/2 inch stainless steel exhaust system on my car with the stainless Street Pro Mufflers. I have heard the Race Pro mufflers and they are VERY loud. If you are driving your car on the street, they are just a step below open headers. I would not recomend them for street driving. They also do instalations at their facility. If you are that close it may be another option for you. They maybe able to let you try both types of mufflers. I am very happy with the sound quality of the Street Pro mufflers and get a lot of compliments on them. They flow very well, sound great and the police don't bother me.
  14. I am guessing the oil. It is the "blood" of the engine and cannot live without it.
  15. Andy, I believe that you can order either VP or Cam 2 and have it shipped directly to your shop. It comes in either 5 or 55 gallon pail/drum. They will not sell to individuals, trade or business only.
  16. Don't you just love "when the little darlings spread the wealth"?? Hope your feeling better soon. Remember, "Crazy Davey Racing coming soon to a TV near you" !!!!
  17. Good luck to both of you! I hope to see either one or both of you "in my living room on Pinks". Crazy Davey Racing coming to a living room near you!!!!
  18. 3.31's will be exactly 3000 rpm @65mph. You will have much better acceleration and keep it at the RPM's as requested.
  19. Davey, Now that you have the car dialed in and very consistent, the rest is up to you. Pro Stock is the same (just faster)and it is all about the driving skills. You are very consistant and that is what counts. Keep up the great work and you will be reaching for a Wally someday. As Andy has said, Warren Johnson is still doing it in his 70's. Enjoy and keep the Loud Pedal down !!!
