Talked to Lisa last night she's there and didn't feel anything. I guess I feel a little better now, she went through an earth quake and didn't feel earth move so I guess it's not me 🤣 😅 🤣

Z28 rims for my 70 Monte
cny first gen 71 replied to Canuck's topic in General 70-72 Monte Carlo Forum
I don't care mine is still in street category. One year I was parked next to Jack's car when judges came around, they spent about 10 minutes looking at his and then looked at mine and walked away after about 30 seconds, but that's ok, a little rude but ok 😅. They can disqualify me if they want, I don't really care. Like I said I'm there for the fun not awards. Mine is mostly original unrestored car with the changes I wanted to make. -

The panel bond has to be used on clean bare metal, not sure if it will work over any kind of paint or fiberglass. -

Well I found all the eggs, turns out I didn't hide them very well. They were in the refrigerator in the bowl I put them in 🤣 I'll call that a success! They are now deviled eggs as a snack before dinner. This is kind of a divided day it's Easter but also the anniversary of the day my wife passed away 18 years ago. Talked to my daughter she's doing alright, busy with her kids. Happy Easter to everyone.

Mine is getting thinner in the front and got a frier hole in the back lol

Yea that happened one time after that my parents started counting them, there was 3 of us.

Happy Easter to everyone. I'm going to have an Easter egg hunt. I'll hide them tonight after I get good and high and see if I can find them in the morning 🤪😅🤣 hopefully I remember to look.

I'm one of them that has the tennis ball on a string, I got tired of bumping into my tool box (yea a little tight in my garage) and yes it's because I have no depth perception.

Mark my dad had a 68 montego convertible and a 64 comet convertible would love to find one in his memory. He traded the 68 for a van and he wrecked the 64 one night when a tree jumped out in front of him. He walked home 3/4 of a mile with broken nose bloody face and got a neighbor to help him get it out. They ended up calling a tow truck and when police showed up every thing was under control he didn't ask any questions. It was a simpler time back then. But I loved both of them cars.

A Friend of mine had a gran prix nice car, my brother in law had a 70 monte that's when I fell in love with them. Almost bought a 72 a bunch of years ago but I thought the guy wanted to much for it and I didn't trust him so I ended up with my 71 17 years ago, been working on it ever since. Didn't need full restoration but a lot of work but was a driver when I bought it and been driving it every summer since then. It's a driver not a show car although it shows well for what it is.

I'm not even gonna try, I've had to many to even think about. Just quick thinking I've had around 25 cars and trucks over the years not including a couple company trucks that had about 200 k on them when they got turned back in.

Searching for 1970 Monte Carlo
cny first gen 71 replied to Tracey's topic in General 70-72 Monte Carlo Forum
Tracey, that's quite a collection of cars you have there. You should think about full membership and join up in Carlisle in June. Hopefully you like what you see here. -
Oh we're supposed to contribute some thing that's useful? Oh crap I'm not very useful I thought it's all fun and games 🤣

They do look much better for sure. I guess the only way to know for sure is cut the old section out and see how they actually look.
