70 bumper on 72?

I had given some thought having the 70 front bumper on my 72 and using driving lights in the bumper. I think it would look very good. Until I need to rechrome or replace my bumper, it will have to wait. But should you do it, make sure we get some pic's.

It's been done. The brackets for a '70 have an area that's formed around the turn signals. Depending on what lights you use, you may need '70 brackets for the clearance.

Marc,

 

It has also been done to use the round parking light holes in the '70 bumper as intakes for dual fresh air ducts as shown in the photos below.

Yes I was there and no I do not know the car owner. I thought that was a great idea, though. I didn't stand around much that day as it was pretty cold and windy. You brought your blue car from what I remember.
