I never paid much attention to them but maybe I should.   A car I bought last year has BF Goodrich tires.  If I am looking at the date code(?) then it’s time to replace

9th week of 2010 if I’m reading that correctly. At 14 years old there is certainly a risk. A member had an old BFG come apart on the front of his 72 Monte on the way to the Western Meet one year. It did a lot of damage to the car.

I got an original set from a friend of mine off his original 69 Camaro. He made me promise never to drive on them. Not a hard decision, i told him just for the truck as a spare for show!!
