Here is my Monte after rebuilding the front suspension. Cutting 1" off the springs got a 3" drop on the front.

I miss my 69 Lincoln continental suicide door. young and no job at the time. my 631/2 galaxie xl convertible, 66 lemans, 65 polara, 67 amc rebel sst convertible, I have owned several hundred, always the too many cars for the Neighborhood, no job, gas prices, got married, farm taxes, kids, needed a planter, ugh. not anymore. I am first Gen. never selling an only hoping to own more 70's and if possible add some 71 and 72's to the stable. got nothing but time and a new lease on life. GO FIRST GEN !!!!!

I have the same regrets about my '86 T-Type..... Didn't have anywhere to keep it when I moved, and I miss it all the time. Especially once I found out how low the production numbers were...

Hey Danny... Welcome to the club. As to your dash lettering conundrum, if you or someone you know is any good with a computer and printer, you could re produce the words on an clear adhesive film. You'd have to remove the original lettering, but I've seen it done. One note to remember if you try it is to put a covering layer of clear film over the word to prevent smearing. Scott.
