  1. There needs to be more shows like that. I get tired of going to shows to see more newer cars than older ones. So what if you just bought a new Mopar or new Camaro or new Mustang, I want to see the classics rob

  3. Hi lads, the ‘72 I just bought had an original black vinyl roof which was removed and the whole car repainted. But they never filled in the holes (if you see the attached photo I’m assuming the holes under the rear window are for the clips). I prefer solid colour, but the draw to keep it original is strong! Is there a guide for fitting vinyl roofs and is this one any good? https://www.topsonline.com/model/Landau_Vinyl_Tops/Chevrolet/Chevrolet_Monte_Carlo_-_1970_thru_1977.html#!

  4. Wanna know how to derail a project just when you have some money to throw at it? You buy another one of these...... Havent done a single thing to the Monte all summer because the weather has been too good. ( Yes its possible) Im going to get back after it this winter. I wont have an excuse. Other than spending a large portion of my car budget on two wheeled toys. Anyone else put off the car for other projects or toys?

  5. Sorry the video will not play. Too many cars to photograph. Over 4000. For anyone that plays split the pot is 12500 dollars by noon. That gives you an idea of how big this is. Just a few pictures. Only 1 first generation that I saw. Could have been more. I will try and figure out the video.

  6. So...just have a short list of small things to do next week. Then we do a full cleaning and detailing of the car. I have a new ACC trunk mat to install and I have original black floor mats that are still in good condition. It's a pretty time of year here in Ontario so soon I'll take some Fall photos of her, drive her a few times before Nov 1 and store it until next year.

  7. Nearly bought an Inverness green Mercury Cougar XR7 until this grabbed my attention! Funny enough, over here a green classic might be associated with British racing green, say a Jaguar, so maybe the only case where green is not very Irish

  8. Just a note, I see photos with the auto level compressors running without intake filters and thought you might want to see the long term results. Here is one of the worst I have seen. although still repairable it takes a lot longer to resurface.
