  1. Welcome, Dennis! Lots of good people and information here.
  2. Most definitely. Babies, too. The parents of a long ago girlfriend of mine had an “oopsie” baby in their late 40’s. Girlfriend would have to watch the little guy quite often as her parents both worked. I can’t tell ya how many times she’d check to see if a diaper change was in order after “someone” crop dusted the room. It was like a Stooges skit… after the third time or so, it was “OK… now I’m SURE he needs a change”. Aahhhhh, good times…
  3. I can relate. I’m not losing my hair, I’m FINDING it. On my pillow, in the sink…
  4. Beautiful car, Mike. At first glance - and were I in the market - I’d be a buyer without arguing too much over the asking price. It looks pretty complete from the pix provided. I’ll enjoy seeing the interior and trunk. As far as BJ, definitely set a reserve. And if I were selling this car, I’d shoot higher than 60K. There’s rarely First Gen Montes crossing the block. And there likely aren't too many of the 3,823 SS’s produced left. And even fewer in this shape and with documentation. Good luck and keep us posted.
  5. Side note: I just noticed you’ve got the “Grandpa Guides”…. garage floor marked with various colored tape for parking assistance. Check your mail this week.. Im gonna send you a tennis ball on a piece of string to hang from a joist over the back window 🤣 PS - I’ll remember to bring my Members Only jacket to Carlisle, you try to remember to bring your Geritol and walker 🤣😂
  6. Don’t EVER bad talk of our Members Only jackets, capiche? I keep mine in the ‘Vette with a 100 pound, German engineered security system activated. Ain’t nobody taking my M.O. threads!
  7. My ‘70 was also Van Nuys built and I have that option. It was an obscure RPO…
  8. And I can’t believe that you’ve owned four SS Montes. That’s awesome. Not to mention a ton of other super desirable cars. You’ve had quite the stable, Willie.
  9. Here ya all go… 1967 Camaro (‘86 - ‘92) 1992 Lumina Z/34 (‘92 - ‘95) 1995 Camaro Z/28 (‘95 - ‘99) 1976 Mercury Monarch (‘95 - ‘97 - winter beater) 1980 Ford Granada (‘97 - ‘02) winter beater/daily driver) 1994 Corvette ZR-1 (‘99 - current) 1997 Cadillac Sedan DeVille (‘02 - ‘04) 2004 Pontiac GTO (‘04 - ‘08) 2008 Hyundai Sonata (‘08 - ‘22 - kid totaled it) 2008 Ford Crown Victoria (‘18 - current, “Vicky”, AKA Marks Fave Blue Oval) 1970 Monte Carlo SS (‘20 - current) 1971 Monte Carlo SS (‘22 - current) The Better Half’s vehicles since we’ve been cohabitating: 1993 Saturn SC1 1997 Jeep Cherokee 2004 Ford Explorer (Gangstered my Sonata) 2022 Kia Seltos (Gangstered Vicky when kiddo gangstered the Seltos after totaling the Sonata)
  10. Hey Roger, dumb question…do you know if the motor is original to your car? Means a lot if you plan on using the link Aaron provided to (possibly) make that determination. Good luck!
  11. A lot of people put them on upside down on the Chevelles to compliment the upside down ‘SS’ badge on the grill. Or so I’ve heard…
  12. “Selective memory”, you say? You must’ve been married or in a long term relationship at some point. It’s a must have self preservation survival skill. Yeah, there were more than a few unhappy purists that shot dirty looks in my direction. Quite amusing how easily some people get fired up.
  13. I beg to differ… Come on now!! if you’re gonna tell a fib, tell the whole fib. I was able to pull off a day of parking with the club. Looks like “someone“ forgot who they were parked next to on the show field. Now Day 2? Yeah…I got busted 😂. Here’s photographic proof as a reminder for those with short memories…
  14. And yet you two continue to judge me on a daily basis. Oh, the irony…
  15. That’s why your nickname was “Tiny” in high school 😂🤣

Everything about Dennis is a disappointment. At least these will lend to that consistency.
  18. I’ll take a “281 / 700 HP” for Vicky, please.

I did all Legendary interior (major pieces) on the ‘70 in July of 2022. I got all the other small bits and pieces (except seatbelts) from OPG. Very happy with the end results…
  20. I overinflate rears to 60 psi so even light pokes of the loud pedal results in copious amounts of smoke. Kidding of course, but that’s what some clown in high school did with his ‘65 Malibu. Aahhhh… the good ol’ days.

Prices for interiors these days are out of the statophere. Need Joe T. scoots to do a full interior gut
  22. Quit stalking! Next thing, you’ll be driving past his house wearing a sock puppet on your shifting hand, a box of candy on the dashboard and a puppy in the passenger seat.
