  1. I will have to see as well. The original emblem for my 70 is packed away in the garage somewhere. Now I’m going to have to empty some boxes, LOL 😆
  2. I just subscribed as well. Looking forward to following the build!
  3. Is there a part number somewhere on this mirror?
  4. My 71 had these same hubcaps when I bought it in 1978. I ran into a guy that had a new 77 Monte Carlo with a set of Cragers on it. I quizzed him and found out it came with Rallies. When I asked him if he was interested in selling the Rallies he said make him an offer. When he accepted my offer of $50 I thought I had offered to much! LOL! What a difference a set of wheels makes!

Great video! I attended my first Eastern Meet in Bristol this year and didn’t really know what to expect. Had a blast and met the greatest people. This video brought back some great memories. Already signed up for the Eastern Meet in 2022, but a Western Meet is definitely on my to do list! Thanks for sharing!
  6. Let us know if you find it.
  7. I’m ashamed to even list some of the parts I threw out when I moved in 2003. Sometimes I think about it and it makes me sick!
  8. You’re making this look easy! Great job!👍
  9. I would like two of these as well. Thanks!
  10. That’s awesome Joe! December is my birthday month, and out of all those nice cars yours is the one I would have picked! 👍
  11. I too have followed this thread from the very first post and look forward to what comes next. I’m really looking forward to seeing the finished product in person in Carlisle in June!
  12. I guess it just depends on what you’re looking for. My 71 has 3:31 gears and I’m at 3500 RPM’s at 70 MPH. I would like to run lower RPM’s on the highway. I guess an overdrive transmission may be in my future.
  13. Welcome! Great looking Monte! 👍👍
  14. Dennis, Looks like it’s coming together nicely. I’m looking forward to seeing your progress when you get it home. Keep the pictures coming!📸📸
  15. Hi Steve, glad to hear all went well. Praying for a speedy recovery and positive test results.
  16. My 71 has been in storage for between 3 and 4 years in a buddy’s warehouse that’s a little over an hour away. The tires on the car were close to 30 years old, and the two front tires had blown out just sitting there. I have been trying to work it into my schedule to get up there and replace the tires so I can bring her home and give her some much needed attention. My buddy text me week before last and sent pictures. He put a set of tires on the car, put a battery in it, and had it detailed! I was up there yesterday on business and drove her. I’m taking my 86 SS Monte up there Saturday and bringing the 71 home. The first project will be reupholstering the seats and new carpet.
  17. After reading the comments I had to go back through the pics to see the license plate. Very cool! Lots of great looking cars too!
  18. Some things are just meant to be! Great story and welcome back!
  19. Thanks! I’m kind of partial to that one myself!
  20. So many nice cars. I wish I had gotten more pictures.
  21. A few pictures from a local cruise in today. Someone said there were about 120 cars. Two First Gens in attendance, mine and a red 72. 82291891-ADF0-436E-A78C-0AE8D3FE07DD.MOV
