I’m imagine these are all produced by the same manufacturer, but has anyone purchased any that stay in place? This is my second set and they are turning up on the corners just like the first set did.

My 86 SS is currently stored at a friend’s place about an hour and a half away. Yesterday I took a trip up to get her out and put a few miles on her. I’ve done very few road trips on my 70 SS, and since the AC is working now, this was a good excuse to stretch her legs a bit. Logged 180 miles of cool 😎 pleasurable driving! Put about 30 miles on the 86 and had a couple of beers with one of my best friends. All and all it was a pretty good day.

I’m definitely in the same boat. We already have a week planned at the beach in July for our annual family vacation.

I may need to retire earlier than planned so I can make all of the events. I would have to live in a van down by the river! LOL

This is not the original top. Installed by the previous owner. I don’t know where they purchased it..

Steve, I’m not surprised. It seems GM likes to sell complete assemblies, not the part you need to repair one. I work for a Chevrolet Dealership. I’ll check with my parts department on Monday, but I expect to get the same answer.
